This is the replacement for the original page three, which I wasn't happy with.

Dan,
This IS the best of them! All the detail, the complex expression in the eyes, the bricks, the tree, the sky. Man, you're entering Crumb Country now, in terms of quality, and Pekar Country in terms of autobiography, but the style and content are all your own. If anyone had said to me a year or two ago that you'd be doing comics and I would think it of equal importance to your poetry, I have told said anyone they were nuts! But this is art, man!

"Pedestrian Comics" is neither comical nor pedestrian, but the title fits. "Pedestrian Comics" is excellent art and literature. It is touching, thought provoking, philosophical, and most entertaining. Keep them coming.
Love, Mom.

My only question is "are you grabbing your junk because of the gas huffer, or the coeds wandering around the Student Union courtyard?

What can you expect from a guy named Scott Chicken? Geez man, my Mom follows this blog, not to mention my kids! I'm holding my briefcase, which is not in the frame, obviously.

I'm sorry...I thought you knew that up here in the nortwest "Junk" is the street slang for "briefcase full of ungraded English papers". My bad.
